The goal: free for people in debt
One day, we want Seraphim to be free for anyone in debt. Not a discount. Free. We put it on the pricing page next to the two paid plans because it's honest about where we want this to go, even though we can't build it yet.
We're careful with the word goal. A promise is something you can be held to. A goal is a direction you commit to moving in. Right now we can't fund a free tier, so calling it a promise would be a lie. Calling it nothing at all would hide what we actually care about.
The people who most need to see their money clearly are often the ones with the least room to pay for the tool that shows them.
That's the whole reason the recommended plan is the cheap one, on purpose. If Seraphim ever earns enough from people who can comfortably pay, the debt tier is the first place that surplus goes. Getting someone out of debt and having them never pay us a cent would count as a win, not a loss.
This page is where updates on that goal will live. No timeline, because we don't have one worth trusting yet. When the direction turns into a plan, it'll show up here first.
